Has anyone put together a sheet/document/memo that glorifies CFML, the purpose is for reassuring future/current clients of the robustness of the language/community/etc. ? If so would you be willing to share it?

Thanks @Dave Merrill! Scott, I am a walking talking version of this lol. If you'd like to chat about some of the tools and metrics I use, as well as some documents we've leveraged in the past, please let me know, I'd be happy to jump on my online office and help you out in this regard! 🙂

The U.S. government, Rexel (Global Fortune 1000) , Nasdaq, the Israeli government, Large banking companies such as American Express, Citibank, Microsoft's own Marketing team, and many others all use Coldfusion. You can get into the various alphabet soup of agencies that all use Coldfusion internally and externally, as well as many state governments, and universities. As for a song and dance paper on why use it, Go grab a CF9 or CFMX Bible book from over a decade ago, or find a script such as BlogCFC. Then after a decade or more of advances, you can download and run that code, written a decade ago. without error. You cant do that with many other languages such as PHP, C++, Net , Java to just name few. Its robust, its secure, it works with multiple other languages, it runs on anything that runs java. There is Adobe Coldfusion and OPensource Coldfusion - Lucee , coldbox. It has some of the highest ROI of any programming language out there (Code once, usually forget it and muck with the UI components)
