The issue is you are trying to compete globally with third-world countries where programming via stack overflow and cut and paste is beyond common. My suggestion is instead of waiting for someone to find you, to ask you to develop something for them, go find local companies who could use your help.

That’s what I am also doing, but I’m seeing if there is a good place to look for work in addition.
