Who is responsible for tickets i.e. moving them on or commenting on them? Just so I know who to aim any conversation at
p
@Mark Takata (Adobe) or @priyank_adobe?
s
I thought Mark was just an evangelist I didn’t think he worked there? Apologies if I’m OOTL
It’s been some time since I thought about tickets until the recent notifications of one I had posted in 2017
p
He is a paid Adobe employee working in that position; I am pretty sure.
s
Ah, sorry again I don’t use linkedin much although I have it
I’ve not even looked at the adobe channel since 2020
p
Haha no prob, I just googled him for his linkedin real quick to verify
s
I dislike the for want of a better word “spying” that linked in does
i.e. I can’t look at a profile or feed or job advert without other people being made aware
p
Yea welp its a Microsoft owned system, what ya expect haha
s
Ah, wasn’t aware of that either

@salted You can point your questions to me.
s
@sandip_halder thanks for that! Appreciate it
m
I definitely work at Adobe. Priyank is currently on sabbatical. Thank you @sandip_halder for picking this up. :)
Also @salted you absolutely can browse LinkedIn while hidden, though the tooling for that is not obvious. It also makes it so that you don't see who is viewing your stuff, so not that useful. https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a567226/browsing-profiles-in-private-and-semi-private-mode?lang=en

I just stay off it altogether now mark I get the occasional email but after several unsavoury recruiters I just ignored it
And apologies for not knowing your employment status ;)
m
No worries. And totally understand, the recruiter situation over there is ridiculous. If I had a nickel lol...
s
Yeah although I appreciate that it's their job and etc etc some of them just don't get the hint
Whilst you're here though the reason for my msg in the first place was an update of a ticket I put in in 2017
It moved from alpha to beta but given the new version of cf is in alpha what does that actually mean?
m
ticket number?
s
CF-4198489
m
OK, so here's what I see. 1. This ticket is not in the "fixed in this release" list for alpha. 2. It IS marked as "Fix target version 15" which is Fortuna. So what I think is planned here is that the targeted fix version we will see it in is beta, which is scheduled to release in January/February. Hence the move from "alpha" to "beta".
s
great, that’s all I needed to know! Thanks for looking into it
m
Sure thing, happy to help!
s
As you can tell from that being so old I don’t use the board that often
