I think I started in 2015, but I certainly don't complete every day's puzzles.

I spent most of the time watching streamers on twitch as they solved the puzzles. I think I solved about 6 or 7 on my own.
this year I hope to go atleast mid distance.

The Working Code Podcast have their own leaderboard for this
(I myself do not participate, that said)

yes I participated in that leaderboard last year, and in discord there is dedicated channel for it. since we have thousands of users in slack i think itd be cool to get more puzzle enthusiast gathered together in this space

It's hard to focus on AoC outside of work when you have kids that constantly want/need attention. 🙂

yeah I have kids too. my 4 year old knows I'm suppose to "work/code" but she can't help herself from bugging me all the time. I plan on putting her to sleep by 8:30

I typically solve them in JS

I used JS for some last year and most with cfml. I even tried python. I actually found all three languages similar in style. it was fun.
I asked about commandbox because I just got the crazy idea of automating the input and submission. Which I'm mostly just hyped about creating a cli tool with commandbox.

I used task runners for all of mine last year. Still CFML but fun to re-run a task instead of refreshing a page.

just as easy with task runners. so you used the session cookie right?

Not sure. I usually try to do it, but I fall off around day 10-15. Just gets to need too much time for me. 😅
