Hi, I am sure I have had this issue before but cannot seem to figure it out. New AWS EC2 instance running Ubuntu 18.04. Installed Apache 2.4. Installed Lucee (latest) using the standard install with mod connector options. Try to load a site and I get 503 - โ€œThe server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.โ€ I may have missed a step but surely I should be able to access the lucee admin on the default site?
So it looks like lucee/tomcat is not actually starting up. I run ./lucee_ctl start and then wait and then run ./lucee_ctl status I get PID not found - where do I find the logs that will report the error?
Fixed! mod_cfml jar was missing from tomcat/lib folder - no idea why.
I blame the heat!

I blame Ubuntu

As a person who is NOT trying to make his "mark" / or impress a superior of anything I ALWAYS blame everything on somebody else! I find it really boosts MY morale - in a team environment! ๐Ÿ˜€

I still blame Ubuntu.

No, it was definitely my fault. In a moment of madness i had deleted the mod cfml jar!

Nothing will convince me it still wasn't Ubuntu's fault. (I use ubuntu)
As for mod_jk, its not needed if you are using apache or nginx proxy
