I may be taking over the responsibility for the CF servers for our agency. They are pure Adobe 2018 servers (not Lucee). While I have ‘poked’ around the Admin, I wouldn’t call myself a seasoned expert. Apart from the Adobe documents, are there any quality resources I could leverage to learn CF Server Administration as fast as possible?

I give some high level overviews with a few details on the important parts in my videos here: https://www.youtube.com/c/adobecoldfusion/videos "Exploring CF Administrator: pt1" and Exploring CF Administrator: pt2". I focused here on CF2021 (so for 2018 you can ignore the package manager and PM CLI stuff). Keep in mind though, the admin is immensely powerful, has a ton of features and is occasionally a bit... well, difficult to figure out unfortunately. Adobe ColdFusion Dev Week starts Monday. There is not a straight up, pure CF admin talk, but I think the following might give you a pretty good insight: Monday: Charlie Arehart's talk, Brian Sappey's talk Tuesday: Ketki & Nikhil's talk, Pete's talk, Giancarlo's talk Wed: David's talk Thur: Aditya's talk Fri: Mike's talk (if your team uses API manager) Of course, I would recommend you watch ALL the talks of course, and they will all be available on replay. Signup here to get access to the live talks & the recordings afterwards: https://adobe-coldfusion-devweek-2022.attendease.com/registration/select

WOW! Thank you so much!

Of course! if you ever have any particular questions or run into a section that you just can't figure out, feel free to reach out. It is useful to me to know where new users have trouble, so we can improve both the interface, as well as documentation and training videos.

RTFM, seriously, beyond that understand the OS you host your CF engine on. If you are using IIS, then learn about IIS and Windows administration. if you are using Linux, then learn about that. Coldfusion out of the box is semi-solid, and with a few tweaks is trusted to run some of the most attempted hacked sites on the planet. It's that secure, that stable, and that awesome.

Wait, did someone hack Evil? Quick, someone do a safety check lol 🙂

LOL...
