We have our first CF2021 dev server, initially stood up about two weeks ago. We have applied the recently-released Update 4. Where would one find a list of Adobe-released hotfixes to address bugs which have been fixed but not yet included in an update? I am thinking of things analogous to the QoQ fix hf201800-4212383 for CF2018… except for CF2021. What hotfixes have been made available, what issues do they fix, and where can we download them?

i dont think there is a list, i had to email for the QoQ fix. Also none of them are rolled into security updates (update 3 & 4 for 2021).

Thanks, Chris. Without knowing what’s available and has been fixed via hotfix, we have no way of knowing what we can request. @Mark Takata (Adobe) or @priyank_adobe, where Adobe creates the hotfixes, can you share with us what has been addressed via hotfix so we know what to request?

Update 4 is a security update and no other general fix(QoQ, CFreport etc..) is part of this update. If you encounter the QoQ issue after applying the update, you can copy the QoQ patch from \ColdFusion2021\{instance}\hf-updates\hf-xx-xxxxx\backup folder and copy this to \{instance}\lib\updates folder.

There is a CF 2021 version of that same fix and it is not part of any update yet. Currently you have to specifically request it from the Adobe support team. The response I received is that such a list does not exist, that this is the only "generic" hotfix for CF 2021 the Adobe team has made available; and that any other hotfixes of this nature they have shared have been specific to a particular user's installation and issue.
