Several people have said this is my "Stupid Human trick": the ability to spot typos all over a document before I even start to actually read it.

It's also why, if Jay drops anything small in the house, she immediately asks me to come look for it -- and I can normally see it on the floor without even bending down to look: it's just "out of place" so it stands out to me.
