Brad had submitted a ticket on this recently after our conversation with it and it seems that these instructions might be for version 4 of lucee and not version 5. can anyone confirm that?

the url I put in for a provider is the root path excluding the ExtensionProvider.cfc, correct?

With 5.3.9.120 bump the log kevel for trace to info, then you can see what urls lucee is calling, via the webcontext. It's easy with my log viewer plugin
