Changing some settings in CF 18 admin screens. Under Server Settings - Settings or Request Tuning. If I change anything and submit I get an error message that says 'the connection was reset'. Not an issue on other screens. Any ideas? I have bounced the box and both instances same error message. Thanks in advance.

Is it possible you have some kind of WAF or other security inbetween, that is objecting to some of the values - like server paths - being posted by those particular settings pages?

I didn't see anything in the CF logs of note or at least anything that jumped out at me. I did rdp onto the server and used 127.0.0.1. That worked and allowed me to change the settings. I'm guessing as @Sev mentioned there is probably some security on the network somewhere or there may be some windows permissions issue somewhere. thanks
