Are you sure you're using the exact same roman.cfm file that you posted here? It sounds like you're trying to call the

RomanFormat()

function from a different page, where no such function is defined. I get a different error if I run your code without websolete's suggested modification, and with the modification it works fine.

is it because

romanfornat

is misspelled there is an N instead of an M in

format
