It's probably just me. I find all the new, and ever changing naming conventions for AI to be annoying. Things like open-weight, inference, multimodal, agent, model, frontier, and harness. All annoying. Maybe I need a Snickers bar.

No, it's definitely not just you. It's hard to stay on top of things when there are so many buzzwords and things keep changing so much. It's why I deliberately haven't gone too deep into this—I just want to get work done!—and, again, it's why I stay with a "stock" VS Code + Copilot Chat pairing so I don't have to worry about all that, while Microsoft keeps making big advances in how it all hangs together. Once things settle down, I'll explore more options, but it seems like a giant time sink to invest in all of the components and how to tweak them right now.
