Ok I seem to be having a weird issue using Lucee 6.1.1.118 on Java 17.0.14 ( also fails on 21 ). When I would reinit my ColdBox app I would get an error when a piece of code runs in the
coldbox/system/code/events/EventPool.cfc
below is a little snippet of code to reproduce. Does any one have any insight as to why this might be happening as a
LinkedHashMap
does have the
remove
function.
Copy code
var data = {};
var pool = createObject( "java", "java.util.Collections" ).synchronizedMap(
	createObject( "java", "java.util.LinkedHashMap" ).init( 5 )
);

// add values
data.test = {"name":"Giancarlo"};
pool.put( "test", data.test );

dump( data );
dump( pool );

// does not error
data.remove( "test" );
// errors
pool.remove( "test" );

dump( data );
dump( pool );

This also happens to a co-worker that is on Java 11
The weird thing is I can not reproduce on trycf.com

Ok .. this is weird. I just did a test on a fresh copy of Lucee 6 using CommandBox and it does not error. I think the issue might have been the upgrade from 5 to 6. I am going to do a fresh install. Please disregard.
A fresh install fixed it
