@priyank_adobe / @Mark Takata (Adobe) is there any documentation on the changes to the cfschedule quartz tables going from 2018 -> 2021. It seems like there is enough of a change to break clustered scheduling but no documentation (or mention of it) I can find. Is there an official upgrade path for the transition? MySQL tables in my case.

Are you migrating the task from CF2018 to CF2021? If yes, then there is a bug where we are working on it.
d
Yes we are looking at migrating but came across this issue which has stopped us - will there be a hotfix for it?
couldn't find anything in the bug tracker - is there a ticket or should I raise one?
p
I have steps which I have to try before I share with you but those are manual steps and it will take me sometime to complete it. Give me a day to get back to you.
d
@priyank_adobe did you get any further with this?
@priyank_adobe keen to try this as its holding up deploying 2021
@priyank_adobe bump ^^
@priyank_adobe / @Mark Takata (Adobe) I am having issues with clustered schedule tasks since 2018 u15, specifically "Datasource '' could not be found." which seems to happen when clustering isn't enabled with a database. I am enabling clustering using the admin api - cfide.adminapi.scheduler which was working fine in update 14. Has there been a change to the clustering tables / functionality in u15 to fix the 2018 -> 2021 issue mentioned above
see things like this in the cf logs:
[INFO ] runwar.context: Clustering not enabled, exception - coldfusion.server.ServiceException: Couldn't retrieve job because the BLOB couldn't be deserialized: coldfusion.util.CaseInsensitiveMap; local class incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = -4876788950396709071, local class serialVersionUID = -5469900980072247315

Doug, did you ever send a support request ticket to cfsup@adobe.com concerning this issue?
d
Nope, i've lost track of which adobe emails do what these days - we have platinum support but even then still don't know the appropriate contact details. Think that side of things needs a bit of work. Will pop them a note
Is there a page somewhere that details the various contact info and a what level anywhere?
m
I mean, I think the emails you need really are: cfsup@adobe.com - Anything CF tech support/security related. coldfusionsales@adobe.com - Anything sales/licensing related for CF. takata@adobe.com - When you need a fixer to see what's up or just need a fourth for karaoke.
