Any PostgreSQL folks out there? For weird reasons, we may want to move a PostgreSQL instance to a different server, using only a backup of the PostgreSQL directory files, not an exported backup. Anyone know if that's a legit thing to do?

Why not a normal export/backup? You would likely get config issues
