I'm running a Lucee 5.2 to 6.1 upgrade (6.1.1.118, current) and I'm getting ORM errors I can't say I agree with when I save a created entity. I had one mad about converting a "BigDecimal" to a string field, which I'm not sure I buy but silenced with a
toString
call, but this one I just think is crazy.
class java.lang.Long cannot be cast to class java.lang.Integer (java.lang.Long and java.lang.Integer are in module java.base of loader 'bootstrap')
The dumped item has several different numbers being passed in (eight digits, all integers); confirmed to be number via cfdump. This worked fine with a persistent entity file from Lucee 5.2. It sounded like a flavor of the https://luceeserver.atlassian.net/browse/LDEV-5086 regression but that seemed insistent the issue was fixed as of 6.1.1.85.

This doesn't really help but I've saw a somewhat similar cast issue that occurred on 6.1.1.118 recently (not using ORM), in my case the classes appeared to be loaded by different classloaders. I wasn't able to reproduce the issue I saw. I would log a bug especially if you can reproduce it
