If this is a known bug I can't find it, but the current stable Lucee (6.1.1.118) is corrupting strings saved to client scope. (Or read from it, depending on how you look at it.) Anything with a
#
is saved to the cookie in an escaped form,
##
, but that isn't being reversed when the scope is repopulated from the cookie later on. You won't notice it while the session is open, but as soon as the session closes or the server bounces, the client scope can't get back to where it was.
I've got a test variable with nothing but a # sign in it in client scope and it doubles in size every time I restart the server and it rewrites that client scope. Will just clear those cookies.
