Does anybody here use the Lucee REST endpoints? Since the first 6.0 release, I've been having very inconsistent deployments of my REST endpoints. I'm using the official Docker images, and have always deployed the REST CFCs using RestInitApplication() in my application.cfc. Since 6.0, it will execute the line, and maybe 60% of the time the REST endpoints go live. If they don't, I can restart the image and it works fine. Can't really find a rhyme or reason for it. Bonus points, the REST endpoint part of cfconfig were never implemented (as far as I can tell from the Ortus github repo), or are plain not documented -- so I don't have that workaround.

@quetwo I might be wrong - but I THINK I remember reading something similar, already. If you haven't already: check the recent messages in the Lucee forums and also their Jira.

Only thing I'm really seeing is that the mapping don't work in "single server mode", which Docker does run on. But it also looks like patches were accepted about 6 months ago. I'll try and track down to see if they were actually pulled into the latest RC
Yup... Single Mode with REST endpoints is what is breaking it...
Well, maybe not... Looks like the RestInitApplication() won't create any new REST endpoints unless one already exists... Once one is there, all is good and things work as expected. On a fresh container, noting exists, so it silently fails...
For those keeping track, I opened a topic on the Lucee Dev forums about this : https://dev.lucee.org/t/6-2-0-164-rc-rest-endpoint-creation-fails/14425 I also created a GitHub repository if anybody wants to recreate the issue : https://github.com/quetwo/RestEndpointFailExample
