Full job description... Senior/Mid Level ColdFusion CFML Developers USA or UK (Remote) / Insuretech NO AGENCIES PLEASE! This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing US Insuretech company where you will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of an industry leading SaaS product. In addition to contributing code and tangible deliverables, the role is expected to work as an adviser to help identify, educate, and foster best-in-class solutions. As part of the team you will be responsible for the design, build, maintenance and development of key product modules, components and enhancements to existing web-based applications using CFML reporting directly to the company CTO. We are looking for a UK or US based, detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with strong proficiency in ColdFusion, web programming frameworks and protocols, including jQuery, AJAX and XML, as well as experience with FW/1 or other OO frameworks. Someone who is capable of working across the full product, UX and design would be ideal. Requirements, the ideal candidate must have: • 5+ years of ColdFusion/CFML application development experience. • Experience with Java development preferred • Experience with front end user experience development. • Experience with an MVC frameworks. (Framework One preferred) • Experience with ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) • Experience with MuraCMS or MasaCMS a plus. • Experience with AWS EC2, S3 and RDS. • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server. • Experience supervising, managing and mentoring fellow developers. Additional Qualifications, preferred but not required: • Familiarity with Twitter Bootstrap or similar CSS framework. • Strong knowledge of API development with experience integrating with external APIs, OAuth, SOAP or REST. • Skilled with one or more JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as jQuery or Vue.js. • An understanding of Javascript / AJAX. • Comfort with Lucee CFML. • Knowledge of Git (or similar version control system) If you are a Coldfusion developer and are excited by the opportunity to work remotely for a well established, trusted and growing US Insuretech company and have the experience and skills we are looking for, apply now!
