A question for anyone who has used JODConverter and has migrated the the latest version - v4.4...
We are running Lucee 5.4.6.9 and have found ourselves in a situation where we can use the v2.2.2 jar files on Windows (Java 11.0.80) but get an error when running the same code on the public facing Linux boxes running java-11-openjdk-11.0.24.0.8-2.el9.x86_64.
The error occurs when we call the 'init' method of the 'converter' object which expects a parameter of the type 'OpenOfficeConnection'. We pass a connection of type 'SocketOpenOfficeConnection' and from my research this is probably an implementation of the OpenOfficeConnection type. It works fine on my Windows box but fails with the error "No matching Constructor for com.artofsolving.jodconverter.openoffice.converter.OpenOfficeDocumentConverter(com.artofsolving.jodconverter.openoffice.connection.SocketOpenOfficeConnection) found"
I've spent a day and a half at this point trying to sort this out and am thinking it is an incompatibility in Java 11 - I think previously this was working on an earlier version of Java (maybe 8 but could be 6 or 7) - though I don't understand why it works on my Windows box but not on the Linux servers.
Hence the thought to migrate to an updated version of JODConverter but it seems to have changed A LOT so was hoping for some advice before I waste another day and a half... 😵‍💫
