anyone on Hostek having issues today?

I only experience Hostek issues on days ending in "Y"

man the support is really getting bad these days, luckily i only have a couple sites on it. They finally fixed it 4 hours later….

Yeah, I rarely bother with their support anymore... When I do open a ticket, they usually get back to me telling me it's fixed about 3 days after it already fixed itself

i called… call dropped i chatted, got a bot but no person sent a direct email to a support person, nothing forwarded the email to ticket support 1hr later got a response in one of my chats…. “we resolved the issue, let us know if theres anything else we can help with” no rhyme or reason

where did you migrate to?

a couple different places, but right now I am doing a migration to xByte for a client

nice, ill check them out, i think i remember seeing them at cfsummit last year

I met with them a cfsummit east in the spring too, that is what started this migration of a decent size account

yeah i would say thats a decent side

only challenge is that one of the servers is lucee 5.3/linux on hostek, and we are working through some code fixes for upgrading to lucee 6 on windows for xbyte

oh lucee on windows, man i hadn’t realized that was a common cloud deployment, i thought it was alway run on linux
