Lacking a good answer I'll try a bad one -- check your network tab and see if it's still trying to download the style sheets or if something's busted about them. This couldn't be an SSL error caused by the drift, could it? Does it stay broken if you connect to the control page with, say, an incognito tab that isn't trying to cache anything?
