GenerateArgon2Hash can't be found Hi Lucee team, I just upgraded to Release 6.1.0.243 from Release 6.0.3.1. Apparently it is missing Argon2 functions. Any suggestions? Should I file a bug? Thanks!

Maybe you need to install the Argon2 extension?

I love the name cfsmplicity! That is a great name. And thanks for the tip, I obviously didn't think of that. Cheers.

As a follow up to those who use Argon2, Lucee does have it as an installable extension. Here is their Github page: https://github.com/lucee/extension-argon2
Unfortunately there is no documentation that I can see, and my tests fail to create a hash even after following their pattern... generateargon2hash( input:string, [variant:string, [parallelismFactor:number, [memoryCost:number, [iterations:number]]]] ):string
It says the variant should be ARGON2i or ARGON2d. But the result is "hash failed" that's it.

There appear to be some known issues since it was moved to an extension: https://luceeserver.atlassian.net/browse/LDEV-4816. I've added a specific ticket though as it's clearly completely broken https://luceeserver.atlassian.net/browse/LDEV-5051

Thanks for that Julian, I also see the issue with arm macs... that explains some things I've seen lately.

@Bill Nourse There's a new version of the extension (1.0.0.6) which appears to fix the issues.
