It works, but not well for me. Too often it catches the Java-doc style comments instead of the function line. However, it does work well in some templates.

Catching the docblock was a bug. It's fixed in https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/pull/157466

It works well in script based cfcs.

Yeah, the bug fix was included in v1.71 so it should work as intended now
