My first computer was a TRS-80 Model 1. It had 16k of memory. I eventually bought the expansion kit which gave it 16k more for a total of 32k.

Mine was a TRS-80 Model III, which I quickly realized couldn't play any games. I took it back and got the Color Computer 2 with gasp 64K of memory! I once typed a program into it from a magazine and ran out of memory before I could finish typing it in.
