Hello 🙂 I have having some issues with the web admin scheduler. I have a few task that show up but for some reason they stopped firing after years of working. The target pages work properly when the url are manually entered. I did notice that the C:\home\domain.com\wwwroot\WEB-INF\lucee\scheduler\scheduler.xml is empty though the web admin shows the tasks. In addition the scheduler.log at C:\home\domain.com\wwwroot\WEB-INF\lucee\logs is also not showing any info. When I hit execute to test the scheduled tasks it doesn't run the template and does not log anything anywhere I can find. Any thoughts on what could be going on?

Yes, that has been a frustration for me as well. I remember searching docs and comments, but nothing seemed to answer the issue. As an alternative, I started using the Event Gateway (Task Gateway) which gives you a per second option. For me, that solution works perfectly, so I moved on. I suppose a better way is to report the bug on the Lucee forum.

Thanks Bill - I will look into the Task Gateway. Its something I never gave much thought.
I did forget to add: Lucee 5.3.9.141
I think I found the issue...though I dont really know how to fix it at this point. It has to do with the SSL. The SSL works fine when I manually enter the URL but its getting an ssl error when the same url is hit by the scheduler... which is weird to me.

You will probably need to install the SSL certificate on your Lucee server for the cfhttp request. It has a very easy option in the admin to do that. Version 5.4.x anyway
You just enter the URL for the host and it will download and install the cert for you.

Thanks! That was it. I wonder why I have never had this issue before on any other site/server?

Could be dated java truststore and the CA is expired or doesn't exist?

@s1deburn Thanks! That was my initial thought but never knew an http request within the same domain would need this.
