You are using an well past end of life version of Adobe ColdFusion. There is no support for this version. Please upgrade to a supported version (CF21 or CF23 are both currently in support).

Good recommendations. CF10 shouldn't be used for a production product anymore. But to get to their actual issue, is the policy that links covering unsupported products are also unsupported? I don't know what that first link is for, but the second one is for the "tech note" that documents the update's features. It seems to be the only one on https://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/kb/coldfusion-10-updates.html that is broken. Thankfully the Internet Archive has it at https://web.archive.org/web/20210927235404/https://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/kb/coldfusion-10-update-23.html

Thanks for your feedback. I know that this version is very old, unfortunately we couldn't get our customer to update yet - but we are working on it. I was able to install updater 23, just wanted to point out that there are some broken links on the Adobe website. And I think this is not very professional, to be honest.

right at the top before it broke. Seems counter-productive to leave it broken if you want to spread that message.

Harry, what is the block for your customer? There's options, no matter what it is. I'm begging you to stop exposing yourselves to massive liability by supporting and working on a version with known security hole vectors. You're driving down the freeway in a '02 Honda with worn brakes and bald tires. If the customer is balking at purchasing a direct license, there's low-price VPS solutions available from our partners which include license costs. They're managed, secure, performant and affordable.

I have to agree with @Mark Takata (Adobe) on this. You are exposing your company to legal liability, if not your company and your reputation. You really should not support this on a professional basis. Besides purchasing cloud hosting, a better revenue stream option that can be upsold, there are multiple ways to obtain an Adobe license; even if you bought an older, supported version, you would be better off, or even open source. By running an outdated version, you are just waiting for it to get hacked, it reflects poorly on you, your company, the company that refused to upgrade, and ultimately, the ColdFusion community has to yet again be bashed over the head with hearing ColdFusion is insecure, when in fact it was someone deliberately running something insecure.
