Question for Adobe: We are having 6 servers as ColdFusion Standard edition 2021 and planning to Upgrade to ColdFusion 2023 standard, Can anyone estimate how we will be spending on the upgrade, like a ball park amount so we can estimate if that is worth upgrading or not yet.

Honestly it’s an it guy and he does not know himself so I am given this task to check if we do upgrade what cost it will be So I am just taking a rough estimate to understand how much they could be spending

Not to confuse the situation, but another option is to move to one of the adobe hosting providers. All of us official Adobe partners include all ACF upgrades with each server. That helps to always keep you current.

There is also the unknown cost of updating anything that has been deprecated and/or changed. And then the massive cost of test if you don't have automated testing setup. And that all is driven from code complexity and the skillset doing the changes.
