I have an issue in lucee6 (6.0.1.83) trying to cfdump a query and it appears as if it's trying to convert the results to an int and throws this error:

The value [2147483648] is outside the range that can be represented as an int. <br>The error occurred on line 819 in file /Dump.cfc

the field is a

longtext

data type with html in it.. not sure why it's trying to represent it as an int. anyone else run into this? makes cfdump useless

Hi blusol, the message you mentioned is typically a database exception and would make sense because the value exceeds an int data type. That value had to come from somewhere, doubtful it was a Lucee error.

It’s a longvarchar datatype with html in it. Not even close to being an int. That’s what’s confusing.

Okay weird. Instead of dumping that query result, what happens you return it as a string? Is the result normal HTML? My guess is if Lucee thinks it is an int, there might be a reason. Just a wild guess, but you could use a SQL Cast function to make sure it returns as a varchar.
