Been reviewing the docs recently and several of them are out of date. For example
right
https://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/cfml-reference/coldfusion-functions/functions-m-r/right.html says count A positive integer that specifies the maximum number of characters to return. But that's not true. Negative index support for strings was added in 2018 as documented here https://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/using/whats-new-coldfusion-2018.html - it is also mentioned in the history that ColdFusion (2018 release): Added support for the negative count. but then below it says positive integer for the parameter. Can I request that when the "What's new in ColdFusion x" page is written that the reference docs are also updated - just add the new examples would be a good start. There are a bunch like this. Thanks! :)

Thanks for bringing this up again. There was an Issue from almost a year ago was that was prematurely closed at https://tracker.adobe.com/#/view/CF-4218138 which is often the case and you really have to go out of your way to get them to follow-up.
