I am unable to find a list of java arguments which can be used by ColdFusion, especially -Dcoldfusion. I remember there was a encoding argument, but can't find the name. Maybe someone can help? Thanks!

Thanks, finally a list of java system properties. Would be great if Adobe could document all of their settings too. But unfortunately there is no encoding property.

Yes, but I believe ACF picks that up. Lucee allows you to set it through the admin.

so are you using this to set a different encoding other than UTF-8, or just to ensure UTF-8 is used? BTW you can also specify encoding when you do a fileRead, cffile, etc
