too much covid around here. just back from a trip to Seattle (from Boston), almost nobody masked besides me.

Unless you are wearing a properly fitting N95 mask with eye protection and have no open wounds, technically, you are not protected.

In my case my housemate brought it home from a running event he went to. By the time he found out someone had gotten COVID, I was already infected. WEEEEEE.

N95, decently fitting but probably not airtight, no open wounds I'm aware of. No eye protection, never seen anyone wearing anything that looked like that. But it's not black and white, more protected is more protected, even if not Fully Protected, whatever that actually means. I'm old, sole breadwinner, trying not to die sooner than I have to.

My thing is masks are used improperly, use the wrong kind of mask, reuse masks, do not wear eye protection, believe that 6 feet is enough, etc.

haha oh yeah, he's the manager of the whole place, known him for years. he was super excited I was finally ready to pick up another bike. Gave me a killer deal on it. He's set it aside. 🙂

Yeah, kind of a scrambler. Kind of a dirt bike. Kind of... a bunch of stuff. Its a zip around kind of bike, very small output, almost a scooter. But great build quality, reliable as heck, decent hp for the size, long maint windows.

Doing ok. Exhaustion comes and goes. The meds are working, but man it is rough love. All I taste is BITTER at all times. But it definitely is kicking COVID's butt in my system, I'm already feeling better than my housemate, who's had it several days longer than I (but can't take Paxlovid due to his age)

Fantastic. My friend owns a bottle shop 5 minutes from my house, so I just go and get stuff from him lol. But if I ever move someplace too far to do that, I'll definitely look into this. Love it.
