Does the Lucee CFML Engine allow for interaction with client-side localStorage? I'm considering implementing cfclientsettings for cfclient.localstorage but with our move to Lucee in one month I want to be sure it's available. Thank you!

Yes, I see it now. Thanks for the throwback to RTFM. It's very unfortunate that this is the case. I guess my question now to lucee developers is whether there is any recommendations other than use JS.

LocalStorage has it's own API in browsers anyway so I can't see why you'd want to use something like

cfclient

was a terrible idea - even most of the Adobe folks admit that now, I think. You're definitely much better off learning enough JS to do this stuff directly.

The only think I've done with

cfclient

was to block it as it caused a security hole!
