In `server.xml`, can I add a host entry like this:...
# lucee

In
server.xml
, can I add a host entry like this:
Copy code
<Host name="some-domain-1.com" appBase="webapps">
	<Context path="" docBase="C:\domains\some-domain-1.com\wwwroot\" />
	<Alias>www.some-domain-1.com</Alias>
    <Alias>some-domain-2.com</Alias>
    <Alias>www.some-domain-2.com</Alias>
</Host>
My point, being, can I add a completely different domain as an alias, or do the aliases have to be sub-domains? Or do I have to do something like this:
Copy code
<Host name="some-domain-1.com" appBase="webapps">
	<Context path="" docBase="C:\domains\some-domain-1.com\wwwroot\" />
	<Alias>www.some-domain-1.com</Alias>
</Host>

<Host name="some-domain-2.com" appBase="webapps">
	<Context path="" docBase="C:\domains\some-domain-1.com\wwwroot\" />
    <Alias>www.some-domain-2.com</Alias>
</Host>
Having read this: https://docs.lucee.org/guides/installing-lucee/lucee-server-adminstration-windows/utilizing-Tomcat-server-xml-file.html It feels like I need to split my current host into two? But maybe someone could confirm this? 🤔

Should be able to add all the aliases to the one host section. Only thing to watch out for is Lucee will see them as the same site -- do you do have to watch out for cookies and cross-domain issues if people jump from one of those domains to another.

@quetwo Thanks for the info. Actually, I plan to shut the original domain down, so there will only be one domain that will be able to access the website, once I see it working with the new domain. The reason I decided to split into two IIS websites and two Lucee host entries, is that the original domain: https://circlemaker.establishmindfulness.com Is bound to an IPv4 address Whereas, the new domain is bound to an IPv6 address: https://circlemaker.app I thought that IIS might not be able to handle the mix of IP address types?

IIS should be able to handle IPv4 and IPv6 on the same domain without an issue. Usually IPv6 issues are upstream with providers (getting lazy with double NATs), or things like firewalls not tuned right.
