Hi All. We're researching adding recurrence (e.g. recurring events, recurring emails, etc.) to our CF app using RRules. We may be able to muscle through this ourselves but I'd be interested to know if anyone here has done something similar, and especially if they would have consulting availability. Feel free to respond here or in DM. Thanks!

Hi Nick, I don't how far you are, but I was curious and I'd never heard of RRules. I did a little digging and here's what I found: https://chat.openai.com/share/84dda541-c420-4371-8ac1-37786c2e1d6d Java library mentioned in the chat to handle RRules: https://github.com/ical4j/ical4j JQuery plugin to create an interface: https://github.com/collective/jquery.recurrenceinput.js

@nathan.blixt Thanks for the follow up. Pretty powerful summary of chat. It took me a long time to basically gather similar info a couple of years ago. To answer your question, we created a basic spec for recurring events a while back and Tom King (who is active here in the slack channel) had done it before and used RRules. My interpretation of our discussions is that this is the best / standard way to do recurrence. As I researched it online, I got a similar sense, although it may be that I was inside the RRules bubble.
