We are getting the following error when using CFHTMLTOPDF. Error Type: Application Error Message: Error occurred while generating PDF. Error Detail: Reason: SERVER ERROR We are trying CFHTMLTOPDF as an alternative of cfdocument as we are unable to render google charts via cfdocument The logs reflect this error: Registration error for service manager : .http://127.0.0.1:8993/PDFgServlet/.Reason: SERVER ERROR" PDF service manager connection status is OK and enabled. This is on CF 2021, windows server, Java version 11.0.18 We have tried these solutions and the issue persists: Solved: CFHTMLTOPDF Fails After Restarting Services - Adobe Community - 11965758 Any suggestions to make this work are appreciated!

I literally spent hours on Meet with Adobe and we ended up having to comment out one of the encryption algorithms in one of our java files (security.java?). But I think it was due to our java and CF not being up-to-date. I sent a plea for help to cfsup@adobe.com

Thanks Myka. I also contacted cfsup and they’re reviewing the logs. It usually takes some time for them to review the logs. I’m hoping someone here knows the answer before I hear from them.

Sorry I'm no more help; we were all over the place when we met with them and it was hard to track what we actually did, and it only seemed to have affect our dev server. Only then did I learn that cfhtmltopdf wouldn't work to replace all instances of cfdocument because for whatever reason it can't spit out a filled form.

That’s ok. I appreciate it. The main reason we want to try cfhtmltopdf is to make the Google charts work when using the pdf option. Cfdocument doesn’t work for us. Have you tried creating PDFs with Google charts? If so, what was your approach?
