Anyone got an Mac with an M1/M2 processor and can do a ACF 2023 test for me? This does not work for me and curious if it's just me.
test.cfm.cpp
p
There was a compilation error. ''
a
Yup that's exactly what I get
Adobe say it's working just fine....
Would you mind posting a comment on here oplease? https://tracker.adobe.com/#/view/CF-4218773
p
your first link gives me 404 about info on the java integration
a
yeah sorry - just fixed that - missed the 'l' off the end of 'html'
If I fire up a ACF 2021 server it's fine, ACF2023 gives me a compilation error
p
Question, are you using this via Commandbox or a direct install; that may be Adobe's stance but not sure if there could be any issue there that would trigger that.
a
it is very CommandBox yeah - also just noticed I have an M2 not M1.
Are you using CommandBox?
p
Yea commandbox here. I am on M1 Max.
a
cffiddle won't let me run it at all. I think trycf is using commandbox
ACF2021 via commandbox is fine so would kinda expect 2023 to work, although I appreciate there is something else in the mix to muddy the waters.
p
Sounds like it is 2023, especially if you are seeing 2021 working.
Commandbox prob not in the problem
a
Also works fine on my Intel MacBook with same commandbox setup
e
try installing Cf23 as its own binary / stand allone installer and test.

I love Adobe's response which was tantamount to "it works OK on my machine [shrug]" (ping @Mark Takata (Adobe))

So using the zip install and running directly on the Mac works. Any kind of Docker image I tried or using CommandBox it does not work. So could it be WAR related?

That's... odd. @priyank_adobe can you note this for Vikram?
