I’m hiring for a Sr level #coldfusion developer for a part-time role, 20+ hrs weekly. Ideal candidate must have: * Strong modern backend ColdFusion development skills (OO, MVC, FP, REST) * Strong familiarity developing in a CommandBox, Lucee and ColdBox (and related Ortus solutions) environment * Be familiar with the SDLC including Git, PR’s, code reviews, task management tools and scrum methodologies (including sprints) * Have at least 20 hours a week to dedicate to producing results . Flexibility is yours, but you’ll need to log 20 hours minimum * Strong familiarity with legacy code (fusebox, tags) and previous experience modernizing legacy codebases * Firm grasp of MySQL 8.x * Strong full-stack and/or mobile engineering experience is a plus * Strong willingness to learn new tech, patterns and techniques is a plus * A github repo you can point to for examples of your work with modern CFML (or a .zip of equivalent code for review) This is a contract position with the possibility of converting to a full-time position later on, but is ideal for any developer who is gainfully employed and seeking additional side work. You must be able to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal) and understand directions given in English. Position is remote. Work from the comfort of your home or home office anywhere in the world. Weekly stand-up meetings are held in mornings during EST USA time and you must be present for them.
