Just found another gotcha with Lucee 5.4.3.2. where the string "0" (zero) matches "." (dot). Anyone else seen anything like this? https://trycf.com/gist/f41b6398576682857202115719a83329/lucee5?theme=monokai
Copy code
<cfscript>
if ("0" == ".") {
    dump("fail");
}
else {
    dump("pass");
}
</cfscript>
Seems to be ok in Lucee 4.5.LATEST and Lucee 6 Beta

has been brought up a few times, there is some discussion re what it should be that you might want to weigh in on. https://dev.lucee.org/t/should-be-handled-as-a-number/12849/5

Interesting that it's something to be discussed, lol. Thanks for sharing!

It was not really something that needed to be discussed beyond "this is lunacy, mate it stop" 😉 But ppl always like to digress.
