I don't profess to be an expert but i think in Lucee 5 it really depends what you are doing I hear references to creating OSGI bundles i guess more context is needed ?

I need a custom DB driver, which is JAR, maybe since I last checked the option to use Jars is changed in Lucee. To my shame, didn't used the feature

@rodyon You didn't mention in your question that the jar you needed was a JDBC driver. If this is the case, I do not think

this.javaSettings

will work in

Application.cfc

. You'd need to use

app.libDirs

in CommandBox, or the servlet container's lib folder.
