Because, this change happens during the Axis phase.
So, once the object is returned from the SOAP web service method, it is intercepted by Axis & converted into the XML response that the caller, receives.
I don’t think it’s possible to use Java to change the response?Charles Robertson

But, I don't know how, when or where to implement this?
In the examples on SO, it seems to be added to a file called:

Does not resolve the problem.
I have tried adding many of the params in:
Global Axis Configuration
https://axis.apache.org/axis/java/reference.html#Global_Axis_Configuration
Like:
• axis.Compiler
• axis.xmlEncoding
• axis.sendMinimizedElements
• enable2DArrayEncoding
• dotNetSoapEncFix
But, alas, no joy! ☹️Charles Robertson

Repository?
I need to add a new global param to:
server-config.wsdd
It is really important that we can remove this n2 namespace. It does not appear when we make an identical call to the ACF11 web service.
It uses the same version of the Axis 1 engine, web service & wsdl etczackster
