Lucee script runner now supports specifying a version query, i.e •
5.4/stable/light
selects the latest stable light for 5.4 •
0/stable/jar
selects the latest stable release Plus you can pass in
-Dcompile=true
on the command line and it will compile all your cfml under the configured webroot and report any problems (or via github actions) https://github.com/lucee/script-runner/tree/version-query-compile https://luceeserver.atlassian.net/browse/LDEV-4663 some quick examples https://github.com/lucee/script-runner/actions/runs/5771348814/job/15645222261 still needs final QA before being merged

hey, zackster, in a couple sentences, what is the lucee script runner? (the readme could use a TL;DR.) https://github.com/lucee/script-runner

Quickly run Lucee cfml applications headless (without a http server) via the command line ?

That's a good description, thanks. The pre-compilation thing could help in Docker builds. I vaguely remember topics around Lucee pre-compilation in the past but I never dug into it. Is pre-compilation a common thing to do in the wild?
it's more a problem for ACF tbh, @bdw429s tells me it's dead slow compiling code

yeah, i'm not sure how much compilation figures in to my lucee (mura) start times but i could benchmark it.
