07/21/2023, 3:42 PMThe Lucee admin shows the "UPDATE ME" sash when betas and snapshots are available for extensions. I would expect it to mention updates only when there's a proper updated release available. I would prefer not to be nagged when there's some pre-release available. (If I want, I can always drill into the extension to see which snapshots and pre-releases happen to be available.)
I'm interested in others' opinions on this.

07/21/2023, 3:53 PMIt's always been a trivial annoyance to me but as I was going over the Lucee light docker image with my team, there were questions about whether we were behind on versions, so I explained that these weren't referring to proper release versions.

07/24/2023, 11:22 AMSince I was asked, I agree that I've always found it confusing that the beta/snapshots are included in Update me flag.
That should really be only there for final releases. I could see there be a separate area that shows all beta/rc/snapshot updated or perhaps showing those if you are already running a beta/rc/snapshot. But you shouldn't see updates not in the same release type as you are currently running.

(In the Extension - Applications screen, note the "snapshot" notices for the extensions for which I'm running stable versions.)
