one mystery i found whilst showing procmon on windows to <@U076DJ2BB> at CFCAMP, why do .TIFF files get written out a byte at a time by all codecs?

I wouldn't be surprised if apache which is old does it, but it seems all the codecs do, even twelve monkeys

while tiff ain't used much, it creates so much extra noise when monitoring file system activity, this the filter i use
