Google is amazing. I searched for "preside cms slack channel" and the second match was this: https://www.mitrahsoft.com/blog/presidecms-new-coldfusion-open-source-cms, and it says:

Got it, thanks @Adam Cameron! Maybe @alexpixl8 can help me get access to the slack channel. After attempting to login I’m seeing an account has to be created.

Yes. This is how Slack works. Slack doesn't know anything about "CFML", this is just a slack instance that happens to have some channels about CFMLish stuff. Preside's slack channel is... their Slack instance, running their stuff. Same as other thread... reach out to them.
