Indeed I will use it to open code files and do small tweaks if for some reason I don't have VSCode or IntelliJ to hand

I would not use it for my day job's coding though. VSCode for CFML and IntelliJ for PHP.

Is there a CF plugin for tag completion or color coding or anything?

[shrug]: did you google? Why would you want to use notepad++ instead of VSCode though?!

I am with @Adam Cameron if I want to mess with a large text file and I don't have vi it is the goto, there used to be a cf plugin but long gone now, however it is quite easy to create a highlighter but as Adam says why not VS Code

I use notepadd++ whenever I am allowed and it does have a CFML extension that works to this very day. Add this to your user-defined languages.
