My googling on this hasn't been fruitful... CF2023 uses Java 17. Does it still have to be Oracle Java, or can it be any of the Java 17s? I have the Adoptium JDK on this box already. Can I safely point CF at it?

That should be fine.

Adobe ships Oracle Java but the whole point of Adoptium is that you can swap in it if you want

Would Adobe still think you were running a supported platform?

@Mark Takata (Adobe) Is Adobe's position on Adoptium/Temurin/OpenJDK still that it is "unsupported" and for someone using ACF to get support from Adobe, they'd need to use the bundled Oracle JDK?

(FWIW, I've pretty much never run ColdFusion on the bundled, supported JDK and it's always been fine -- I've always used other JDKs -- but then I've also never tried to get actual support from Macromedia/Adobe)

@priyank_adobe you want to handle this one? I'm not sure exactly what our position is on someone using a non-Oracle JDK and having issues.

I should point out that you get a license to use Oracle Java with your ColdFusion license...
