Why, when I go to the CF 2023 website, can I not see basic information like "how many licenses to I need for [x] servers with [y] processors?
d
Need to talk to someone at Adobe or a licensed vendor to get a quote.

It seems like licensing requirements should be up-front and center, not buried in a support document.

You won't even find it in a support "document". You have to talk to sales at Adobe or some vendor.

Jim, that was a different issue, and I believe (hopefully, Tony can verify) that I was able to resolve it and get them taken care of.
David, I think the simple answer is because our licensing is so complicated and convoluted, that any matrix or document listing out all of the different ways to license would be essentially unreadable by a human. IT IS AN ISSUE. And it is a priority to fix. It was a bullet point in our keynote in DC in April. Like, out of 3 or 4 things we're focusing on for 2024, licensing is there. For now, sales can answer any specifics you need. Resellers can figure out your needs. The FR folks are great and super knowledgeable. Hopefully we can get it to a point where the "call sales" is only required for large enterprise accounts. That will ALWAYS be the case. But for smaller businesses, we need to do better.

"Call sales" is your only option is a pretty poor option. Hard to sell owners on what the licenses are going to cost if finding that information is a hassle.
Wasn't there talk at CFSummit 2022 about a "free" version of 23?
...especially when "Call Sales" is actually "Email Sales." Then... wait and hope someone responds within a reasonable time.

Just use your best judgement and you'll be fine. 🙂
