@Mark Takata (Adobe) just poking about for a link to the 2023 EULA to see if there are any licensing changes for containers etc. but can’t seem to find it - any chance of a helping hand to point me at it?

Hi Doug, licensing changes are coming in CF24, not in the 23 release. If you have a specific question on usage, let me know and I can try to get you the answer.

I can tell you, now that CF23 is out, licensing is one of the top items on the docket. We've been working on 23 for 2 years, and now that we're going to a yearly update cycle, you'll see much more movement, change and updates, but we're still trying to rev the motor up 🙂

more language and compiler stuff hopefully too

I'd love to see improvements to our compiler times and installer sizes for some of the packages.

It doesn't install on macOS :(

I have a detailed installation guide 2021 Migration Release installation guide. Is there such a document walkthrough out for 2023?

I want to say... yes? Maybe? Come to think of it, I heard we had one but I'm not sure it launched yet. Most folks give new versions a minute before diving right in. @saghosh do you know what status is on migration guide?

Appreciate any timeline on this as I was about to start a 2021 installation roleout and willing to push it a bit if a 2023 guide is out and upgrade to 2023 instead

It will be available in couple of days. We have covered all the scenarios to migrate the servers.

Do I get another 30 day trial if I already did the trial with ACF 2021? If not how am I supposed to get the software for the certification?

@jakobward thanks so much I ran xattr -rc on the installer and it installed fine on macOS. I am so happy to have ColdFusion 2023 running on my Mac. Thanks!

@jakobward Sorry about that. I wanted to get more attention as it isn't referenced anywhere and it concerns the certification requirements. How do I do a fresh install of ColdFusion?

@Ookma-Kyi you can download the installer based on the OS that you have and run the installer. Pls let me know if you are facing any issue while installing it.
