Q: Should I join Linkedin premium?
s
A: No
I joined it a while back, I did not see any value in it
but you could probably do a free trial and see for yourself

For networking and connecting with others, I agree with @Scott Bennett. However, the Learning Library comes along with the premium, which I think is totally with the $35 or whatever it is.

I learned ColdFusion through Lynda.com in 2000.
(Linkedin bought Lynda.com for $1.5b)

Yeah, I did not even really look at the learning library at the time. I didn't have any particular skills I needed to learn. I could see the value if you wanted to take some of those courses though.
I learned CF in early 2000 as well, but I did it by reading the old CFWACK 4.0 books... didn't even know Lynda.com was an option back then

I used to have it. Thinking to get it again. Especially if I can get Adobe to pay for it lol. I enjoyed the perks, but the price seemed a bit steep (I ended up getting it gifted to me from a group I volunteered my time doing mentorship for)

I found it somewhat useful for job searching, but even at that the benefit seemed limited.
